Oculoplastic Meeting (January 15) & Breast Surgery Symposium (January 16-18)
Twenty-five years have passed since the first Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium. How fitting then that the 2009 Symposium featured comments by Dr. Carl Hartrampf and Dr.Thomas Biggs who both looked at cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery with a nod to the past and to the future. The live surgery session during this milestone anniversary symposium featured a beautifully executed bilateral breast reconstruction utilizing ipsilateral pedicle TRAM flaps performed by Dr. Franklyn Elliott.
