Min-Jeong Cho, MD from The University of Texas Southwestern
The Bostwick award is sponsored by the SESPRS and given to the resident with the best project in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. The applicants are now accepted from all regional plastic surgery societies and the submissions continue to grow in number. This year we had had 16 excellent applications and the best abstract was awarded to Dr. Min-Jeong Cho who is a plastic surgery resident at the University of Texas Southwestern. She received a generous check and a copy of the second edition of Dr Bostwick’s breast book. She then presented her work at the Atlanta Breast Symposium. Her talk was titled "101 Consecutive Profunda Artery Perforator Flaps in Breast Reconstruction – Lessons Learned with Our Early Experience” and was informative and well received. We look forward to even more applications next year.
