2017 Glancy Award Winner, Kristopher M. Day, MD

Bruce A. Mast, MD, SESPRS Resident Competition Committee Chairman presents Kristhopher M. Day, MD with the winning Glancy Award.

Dr. Kristopher M. Day of the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine Chattanooga, was honored at the Gala dinner event at the Cloister Resort on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, as the recipient of the coveted Glancy Award for his presentation titled “Vertical Inset of Latissimus Flap Improves Reconstruction Aesthetics by Reducing Scar Burden in the “Social Breast””.

This award is given annually to the resident judged to have the best paper presented in the Resident’s Glancy Competition.

Dr. Katherine Huber representing The University of South Florida was honored as runner-up in the Glancy Award competition for her presentation “The Impact of Perioperative Hormonal Therapy for Breast Cancer on TRAM Flap Abdominal Complications”.
