2026-2027 SESPRS Research Grant 

APPLICATION AND PROGRAM GUIDELINES

The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS) invites

research grant proposals for research scholarship awards in the amount of

$15,000.

The applicant must be a member of SESPRS. The grants will be

awarded at the 2026 Annual Meeting to the best research proposal submitted (see

details on installment payments and progress reports on the full application). The

research proposal must be related to plastic surgery and have a clinical application.

It must be completed within 12 months of presentation of the award. The

winner(s) must present the resulting paper at the Society’s 2027 Annual Meeting,

and are encouraged to submit a manuscript for publication to The Annals of Plastic

Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery or the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
