Two Grants Awarded at 2017 Annual Meeting

Two Research Grants were awarded at the Gala event on June 14, 2017. Support for these grants was provided by Integra Life Sciences and MiMedx.The first grant was awarded to Dr. Sherry Collawn from UAB for her research project titled “Stromal Cell Interactions with Skin Cancer”. (Photo left from left to right: Michael Fellin with Integra Life Sciences, Sherry Collawn, MD and Brian Rinker, MD, SESPRS Research Grant Chair). the second grant was awarded to Dr. Timothy W. King, also of UAB for his research project titled “Development of a 3-D Bioprinter for Tissue Engineering”.
