VCU Hosts Dr. Bruce Shack through the Visiting Professor Program

Dr. Bruce Shack represented The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons through his visit with the Residents at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. Dr. Shack enjoyed dinner on Friday with the Residents, lectured on vaginal reconstruction, and discussed interesting case presentations following his lecture. Dr. Lauren Nigro, one of the VCU Residents who helped to organize his visit said, "I want to extend a big thank you for making the trip east as a Visiting Professor. I speak on behalf of all of the VCU residents in saying that we had a wonderful time hosting you, learned a lot, and had fun!"

SESPRS started the visiting professorship this year and Dr. Shack is one of two special Southeastern members to take part in this annual program.
