Resident Glancy Competition

SESPRS Annual Meeting Resident Competition - Call for Abstracts

Residents in Plastic Surgery are invited to submit original abstracts for the Resident's Competition at the Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held in June of each year.

The abstract must be from a Plastic Surgery Resident in one of the SESPRS' member states. Residents in other specialties are not eligible for this competition. Resident abstracts must be co-sponsored by a SESPRS member in good standing.

Submissions open in November - December

While topics on all aspects of plastic surgery will be considered for presentation, we are particularly interested in receiving abstracts which display significant clinical relevance. Abstracts submitted should reflect work done by the presenting resident, and must have been done at the sponsoring institution. Abstracts will be selected by the Committee for inclusion in the “Glancy Resident Completion”, the best two of which will receive awards. The Glancy Bowl will then reside in the winning institution for the following year.

Abstracts not selected by the Committee for the Completion may still be eligible for inclusion in the program during the quick shots podium presentation session.
